What is the DualSense send-in custom service?

The DualSense send-in custom service takes your official PS5 controller (DualSense) and installs MERKA.G custom parts while keeping the stock board. Back buttons, TMR thumbsticks and click triggers improve handling and response speed. Because the stock board stays in place, it works on both PS5 and PC. After an inspection and operation check on arrival, we ship it back within 3–5 business days. (This may vary depending on how busy we are.)

Back button unit (selectable)
Paddle Type

A high-rebound paddle structure with a light press that's easy to operate with your fingertips. You can jump, reload and more without lifting your fingers off the back, keeping your aim steady while you input. A well-balanced, go-to type that combines durability with misinput prevention.

Button Type

Independent back buttons give a clear, tactile click. With fewer misinputs, they suit players who like a firm press or have larger hands.

Vibration motor removal

Removing the vibration motor lightens the controller. It reduces fatigue during long sessions for a more comfortable feel.

TMR thumbstick

A non-contact magnetic-sensor thumbstick module. It greatly reduces drift and keeps aim stable over the long term. With tension close to stock, the feel is natural with little discomfort.

Click triggers & bumpers

Converts L1 / R1 / L2 / R2 into tactile click switches and shortens the throw. It reduces input delay and shines in titles that demand instant reactions, such as FPS and fighting games.
※ The adaptive trigger feature (resistance change) becomes unavailable.

Smart buttons

Converts the ◯ / ✕ / △ / □ buttons into click-type switches. Since a shallow press registers, they are advantageous in games with heavy mashing or quick cancels.

Pro thumbsticks

Interchangeable thumbsticks whose height can be freely changed. Fine-tune the feel to match your game genre and preference.

Included stick tops (6 total)

  • 11 mm concave ×2 (close to standard height)
  • 14.5 mm dome ×2 (mid height, fits the thumb)
  • 17 mm concave ×1 / dome ×1 (taller, for precise control)
MG grip sticker

A dedicated sticker that absorbs hand sweat while providing strong grip. It resists slipping even during intense play for stable handling.
※ Even when back buttons are added, it is cut to a dedicated shape so it does not interfere.

About scratches

We take the utmost care during production, but fine scratches can unavoidably occur during the disassembly and machining process. Please understand this in advance, especially when sending valuable controllers such as limited colors or collaboration models.

Spec changes from customization
  • After customization, button feel and handling may differ from stock.
  • With the click-trigger conversion, the adaptive trigger feature becomes unavailable.
  • Internal machining may slightly change the weight balance.
  • When using thumb grips, the stick cap may interfere with the face cover.

For one month after arrival, you will only be responsible for the shipping costs from the time of shipment (please send the item prepaid), and we will cover the cost of returning the item to you.

Not covered by warranty

All warranties are void if the controller is damaged by dropping or throwing, submerged in water or disassembled.

If the malfunction/problem cannot be reproduced in our facility, it will not be covered under the warranty.

MERKA.G will contact you with an estimated cost before any requested repairs are initiated, and it will be up to you to decide whether to proceed with the repair or simply return the controller.

Drift

When using a controller in an FPS game, etc., if the stick sensitivity setting in the game is too sensitive, drifting (the viewpoint or character moves even when you release your finger) can occur even with a brand new controller. In this case, it is not a malfunction, so replacing the stick parts will not fix it. Before applying for repairs, be sure to widen the dead zone in the FPS or in-game controller settings. In most cases, the problem can be solved with just the settings.

A faulty controller

Broken controllers cannot be accepted for carry-in service. Please be sure to check that they are working properly before mailing them in. If a malfunction is confirmed, we will return the controller to you cash on delivery regardless of whether it can be repaired or not.
