What brand is the TMR stick?

MERKA.G uses a TMR stick made by HALLPI.

The HALLPI TMR stick is highly rated for its tension and feel similar to that of the original stick (made by ALPS), while also achieving stability and durability through its non-contact system.

Among the many TMR sticks available, we place importance on not changing the operating feel too much from the conventional ones, and currently use HALLPI products as our standard.

*The configuration of the TMR stick may change depending on the results of future tests.

What is AXIS Stick (HE)?

The AXIS Stick (HE) is a Hall Effect stick configuration designed by engineer Marius Heier exclusively for the REACTA (PS4 JDM-5X).

This configuration is based on a design concept called MIDAS (Magnetic Integrated Digital Array Sensors), and employs a circular magnet structure and a 5-pin configuration for signal acquisition.

The design emphasizes input stability and reproducibility, reducing the input variation and sensory differences between axes that were common with conventional 3-pin HE sticks.

At MERKA.G, this is a unique term that represents the "input stability" that is a characteristic of MIDAS design, as its axis.

Why doesn't MERKA.G use the same Ginful stickbox as Marius?

This is due to differences in the way the stick axis structure (mechanism) is thought of.

For the configuration we call "AXIS" at MERKA.G, the axis (stick box) itself is made by ALPS.

We also tested the Ginful stick box (axis mechanism), and determined that there were large individual differences in the feeling of returning to the center (the timing of the return and the texture of the rebound).

This is not due to the superiority or inferiority of performance, but rather to the fact that the standards for operational feel change significantly.

For this reason, MERKA.G uses an ALPS shaft structure that is familiar to many users and easy to align with standards.
