DualShock4 custom controller service (REACTA MH4 board base)

Just send us your DualShock4 (official PS4 controller). We install the REACTA MH4 board designed by engineer Marius Heier and turn it into a PC-only competitive controller with up to 8000Hz and 1.43ms button latency — the base plan for a full custom. This DualShock4 custom controller service offers stock / TMR / AXIS thumbstick choices, plus back buttons, click triggers and more.

How the service works

We receive your official PS4 controller (DualShock4), install the REACTA MH4 board and apply the MERKA.G custom work. After an inspection and operation check on arrival, we ship it back in about 1–2 weeks. (This may vary depending on how busy we are.)

Standard custom content

This service includes replacement with a grip-type rear shell and a Type-C port as standard. It's easier to grip than stock, and cables plug in and out more smoothly.

Thumbstick selection

At checkout, choose the thumbstick from 3 types: TMR / AXIS (HE) / stock (ALPS). The TMR further offers 3 variants: HALLPIN / K-SILVER JS13 Pro / GINFULL DS13 MAX.

※ Internal spec varies by thumbstick configuration. The selected thumbstick ships pre-soldered.

Back buttons (Button Type)

Independent back buttons give a clear, tactile click. With fewer misinputs, they suit players who like a firm press or have larger hands.
※ Supports remapping (reassignment), done via dedicated web software.

Click triggers & bumpers

Converts L1 / R1 / L2 / R2 into tactile click switches and shortens the throw. It reduces input delay and shines in titles that demand instant reactions, such as FPS and fighting games.

Pro thumbsticks

Interchangeable thumbsticks whose height can be freely changed. Fine-tune the feel to match your game genre and preference.

Included stick tops (6 total)

  • 11 mm concave ×2 (close to standard height)
  • 14.5 mm dome ×2 (mid height, fits the thumb)
  • 17 mm concave ×1 / dome ×1 (taller, for precise control)
Standard spec

With the REACTA MH4 board conversion, the vibration function is unavailable (removing the vibration motor also reduces weight). A controller finished with this service is wired, PC-only (Windows / macOS). The speaker and earphone jack cannot be used. ※ It does not work on PlayStation consoles (PS4).

About scratches

We take the utmost care during production, but fine scratches can unavoidably occur during the work process. Please understand this in advance, especially when sending valuable controllers such as limited models.

Spec changes from customization
  • After customization, button feel and handling may differ from stock.
  • The stick's press feel may differ between left and right.
  • The left side of the touchpad may become harder to press.

Drift

When using a controller in an FPS game, if the in-game stick sensitivity setting is too sensitive, drift (the viewpoint or character moves even after you release your finger) can occur even with a brand new controller. This is not a malfunction, so replacing the stick parts will not fix it. Before requesting repairs, be sure to widen the dead zone in the FPS and in-game controller settings. In most cases, this can be resolved with just the settings.

Precautions

All warranties are void if the controller is damaged by dropping or throwing, submerged in water or disassembled.

If the malfunction/problem cannot be reproduced in our facility, it will not be covered under the warranty.

MERKA.G will contact you with an estimated cost before any requested repairs are initiated, and it will be up to you to decide whether to proceed with the repair or simply return the controller.

Cancellation after shipping

If you contact us within 7 days of receiving the product and the product is unopened, we will refund you. However, a 15% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Cancellation before shipping

To cancel, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order.

Cancellations made after 24 hours of placing an order will incur a 15% production fee.

Exchanges and Returns

We will only accept returns, refunds, or exchanges if the defect or initial failure is confirmed within 7 days of delivery. The replacement item will be shipped after we receive the defective product.

If more than 7 days have passed, repairs will be provided free of charge.

Postage

If you cancel for your own reasons, you will be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.

Cancellation fee

The 15% fee will be used to offset costs already incurred in starting production, preparing parts and disassembling the controller.
